Sophie Dascal graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor in Art History and Philosophy and in 2015 with a Master in Film History and Esthetics from the University of Lausanne. She then completed a Bachelor in cinema at HEAD-Geneva (Haute École d'Art et Design) in 2018. Her graduation film ANGOR PECTORIS (2019) premiered in Visions du Réel Nyon and was awarded the META Cultural Foundation Award. She is currently working on her first feature documentary KEIGEI KAKOCHO and continues to work as a director of photography.
